My intention is to share with you valuable SEO (Search engine optimization) practices so that you can start earning money with your blog in the shortest possible time. So one article alone is not going to make you into an SEO expert magician.

In essence, SEO contains 3 basic components - 1) on site optimization (what you do on your blog), 2) off site optimization (also commonly known as link building) and 3) original content generation.

For on site optimization, my advice to you is to KEEP EVERYTHING SIMPLE. Google, the biggest search engine on the Internet, has been known to be a sensitive little machine. So every subtle element on your web page counts. Believe it or not, even the loading time of your web page is taken into consideration when ranking web pages. Here are some on site optimization tips.

1) Use search engine friendly (SEF) urls.
2) Use your primary keyword phrase in the page title.
3) Enter unique META tag keywords and descriptions for each page.

For off site optimization, link building is EVERYTHING. You MUST learn how to build quality back links. There are many ways you can do so.

1) Blog posting.
2) Article submission
3) Forum signatures. 4) Link directory submissions. 5) Blogrolls. 6) Blog commenting.

Finally, remember to post original content on your blog. Duplicate content has been a heated debate on the Internet.
